Cortus Energy has produced the first ultra-clean syngas at the new plant in Höganäs. The product is identical to what was previously produced at Cortus pilot plant, an ultra-clean syngas that fully meets the supply agreement with Höganäs AB. This first syngas production is a major advance for Cortus since it gains our customers’ confidence to move forward in their decision-making processes.
”The fact that we have now started production of ultra-clean syngas from biomass on an industrial scale is not only a big step for us at Cortus, but also for the possibilities to replace fossil products with renewable products on a much wider scale,” says Cortus founder Rolf Ljunggren.
